Dreamworks Animation Matte Painting Work

Some work I did while working at Dreamworks Animation. Will add more soon.

With amazing art direction from Maxwell Boas and Raymond Zibach, I had a blast with all the fun backgrounds in KFP3. Paintings staged on 3D cards and animated in NUKE.

The opening scene was such an homage to the kinetic energy of anime action. I was tasked on this sequence and challenged to have all the action lines work in stereo 3D. Again under the direction of Max Boas and Raymond Zibach.
